  • State AAY (SAAY) and State PHH (SPHH) cardholders receive rice free of cost - funded by the Chhattisgarh state government
  • The scheme uses a colour-coded card system: Pink (APL), Blue (BPL), Yellow (AAY), and Gray (MMKSY beneficiaries moved from older BPL lists)
  • MMKSY specifically covers SC/ST families and non-SC/ST poor families who were in earlier BPL surveys but excluded from recent ones

How to Link Aadhaar and Complete e-KYC

Chhattisgarh has a significant tribal population in districts like Bastar, Sukma, Narayanpur, and Bijapur where biometric authentication can sometimes fail due to worn fingerprints from manual work. For these residents, OTP-based authentication and iris scan are available as alternatives at the FPS.

  • Online via FCS portal: Go to khadya.cg.nic.in, log in with your ration card number or registered mobile, and use the Aadhaar seeding option to enter Aadhaar numbers of all members. Verify via OTP.
  • At FPS: Each member provides fingerprint or iris biometric on the ePoS device. For tribal areas where fingerprints fail, OTP authentication is used.
  • At Gram Panchayat: For remote tribal households, the Gram Panchayat office assists with Aadhaar seeding.

Using Your Card in Another State (ONORC)

Chhattisgarh has a large tribal and rural population many of whom migrate seasonally to work in coal mines, construction sites, and brick kilns in states like Maharashtra, Odisha, and Telangana. Under the ONORC Scheme, these migrant workers can collect their entitled rice at any Fair Price Shop in the state where they work. CG’s ONORC portability data is visible on epos.cg.gov.in/impds_interface.jsp - the state had 6,92,697 portability cards active in March 2026. Only Aadhaar authentication is needed at the FPS.
