The Andaman and Nicobar Administration provides the official LG Help Desk (Citizen Grievance Filing & Redressal System) for citizens to register and monitor public grievances online. The portal allows users to lodge complaints, track their status and submit clarifications, wherever required. Citizens may also use the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) for grievances relating to Central Government Ministries, Departments and participating Union Territory authorities, wherever applicable.

Unlike many Indian States, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands do not have an elected Chief Minister or Legislative Assembly. The Union Territory is administered by a Lieutenant Governor appointed by the President of India. Therefore, citizens should use the official LG Help Desk for grievances relating to the Andaman and Nicobar Administration.

The LG Help Desk is an initiative of the Lieutenant Governor's Office and has been developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Andaman State Unit. Grievances submitted through the portal are forwarded to the concerned departments of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration for necessary action, while citizens can monitor the progress of their complaints online using a unique grievance reference number.
