How to Link Aadhaar

Aadhaar seeding is mandatory for all Ration Card holders in Tripura. Without Aadhaar linkage, ration transactions cannot be authenticated on the ePOS machine at the Fair Price Shop. Tripura has a significant tribal population in remote hill areas - for those with fingerprint authentication issues, OTP-based or iris authentication is available.

  • Visit your designated Fair Price Shop with Aadhaar cards of all family members
  • Each member provides fingerprint or iris biometric on the ePoS device
  • If biometric fails, OTP on Aadhaar-linked mobile is used
  • Check Aadhaar seeding status at nfsa.gov.in

Using Your Card in Another State (ONORC)

Tripura shares borders with Bangladesh on three sides and has a significant population that moves to Agartala, Kolkata, and other cities for work and education. Under the ONORC Scheme, Tripura NFSA ration card holders can collect their entitled food grains from any Fair Price Shop across India. Workers from other states working in Tripura's rubber plantations, tea gardens, and construction sector can also collect their home state ration at Tripura FPS shops. Only Aadhaar authentication is needed. The ONORC section is available on the official FEAST portal at epdstr.gov.in.
